These works explore key tensions of the present: loneliness, social isolation, and fear of new technologies. The central motifs are human silhouettes rendered in an aesthetic that evokes cave painting. The use of ochre and charcoal creates a parallel between the present and deep antiquity. These images propose a view of our time as a future "forgotten era" which distant descendants will perceive in much the same way we view Upper Paleolithic cave paintings today.
